A Little Bit About Me

I am a dedicated, friendly, and reliable Visual/UX/UI Designer with high emotional intelligence and have a deep understanding of design thinking, prototyping, and user testing. Besides having more than five years of experience as an IT trainer, I also have extensive knowledge of graphic designing, social media marketing, and content management systems. I enjoy bringing my ideas into reality, solving problems, collaborating, and delivering effective solutions for others.

We learn from our mistakes – Our struggles make us strong!

Born and bred in Pakistan, a country with its own history and cultural heritage, I am a proud Lahori girl. Just like their culture – Pakistanis are passionate, emotional, expressive and colourful people. They love to celebrate, no matter the occasion, giving presents, throwing parties and having regular large gatherings with friends and family are all very common. I completed my bachelor’s in Computer Science and Business Administration from one of the most prestigious colleges in the country i.e. Kinnaird College.

I am a full-time mum of a 12 years old beautiful girl and an 8 years old handsome boy. It is fun to go on adventures with them. We all are studying primary mathematics and investing our quality time in science experiments. My kids love doing Scratch coding, Python programming as well as HTML, CSS and whatnot. Soon we are planning to start a family software house.

I have spent approximately 5 to 6 years as an IT Trainer. Designed and prepared training materials, PPT slideshows and participant’s handbooks; synchronised learning environment; coordinated with the program manager to prepare an effective schedule for workshops.

Confidently conducted training sessions and taught officials of various government departments; monitored and evaluated progress reports for participants.

Apart from that, I also taught short IT courses to the mixed age group of people, the majority of senior citizens; proactively worked as an assistant to senior lecturers.

As a people person, I enjoy connecting with people who are motivated and unafraid of sharing their ideas with the world. Having the ability to recognise and feel for the person’s situation, I empathise by being a thoughtful listener, hearing their stories and am committed to helping them in solving their problems.

Travelled to more than 10 countries, I’ve been lucky enough to do quite a bit of it. Travelling forces us out of our comfort zone, exposes us to different cuisines and cultures and helps us realize how diverse our world truly is. It is the best way to learn about people and their needs. When we meet so many wonderful people all over the world then we begin to feel the whole world is our home.

Melburnian-by-choice; I, with my husband and kids, moved to Australia in April 2021 on skilled immigration permanent resident visa and we made Melbourne our new home. I feel fortunate to be able to live in such a special city renowned for great art and culture, delicious food and a source of inspiration for everyone. I especially appreciate its green spots and meeting people from all over the world.

Continuous improvement has always been my goal, and I enjoy helping others succeed by sharing my learning opportunities. Due to my innovative nature, I pay close attention to details and a committed to quality. I am a lifelong learner, constantly learning new things every day and have skills in operating a wide range of creative platforms and industry-standard software and tools.

I am certified in design thinking, prototyping, and user testing from RMIT University. My passion is to design engaging and compelling experiences and products that make users smile. I enjoy bringing my ideas into reality, solving problems, collaborating, and delivering effective solutions.
